Known to the Romans as Nova Korvius, Wodanswald is a rapidly growing village originally settled by migrating Germanic tribesmen. Because of a long, bloody history between the Empire and Anglo-Saxon tribes, Roman citizens venturing into the village are tolerated at best - and only because of an ongoing, albeit tentative, peace treaty.
